Corby manufacturer See Limited has been named North Northamptonshire Business of the Year, securing the top honour at the Northamptonshire Business Awards held at Sywell Aerodrome on 14 November. The win reinforces See Limited’s position as one of the county’s leading innovators.

The company, which supplies, distributes and fabricates wood veneer and decorative laminate panels, was recognised for its strong contribution to the North Northamptonshire economy. Judges praised its commitment to sustainability, investment in clean technology and development of zero-carbon materials. They also highlighted its active support for local community initiatives.

This latest accolade continues a strong awards run. See Limited collected Gold for Business Innovation at the SME Northamptonshire Business Awards in May and Gold for Innovation of the Year at the National Building and Construction Awards in October. It was also shortlisted for two national Construction News awards: Carbon Reduction Champion and Outstanding Contribution to Sustainability.

The recognition follows a notable 2024 in which the business secured four national awards, including Gold in the Sustainability category at the National Building & Construction Awards.

“We are incredibly proud of the Group’s achievements and honoured to be recognised for our commitment to innovation and sustainability, alongside the positive impact we make within the Northamptonshire community,” said Robert Thompson, CEO of See Limited. “We remain dedicated to championing initiatives that create real value for the community, driving transformative change across North Northamptonshire through meaningful collaborations and forward-thinking projects.”
