Northamptonshire software developer Web Alliance has been shortlisted in two categories at the Northamptonshire Business Awards 2026.
The company is a finalist for the Customer Commitment Award, while co-founder and director Ashish Kumar has been shortlisted for Business Person of the Year. The awards, organised by the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce, recognise businesses and individuals from across the county.
Web Alliance, which was founded in 2012 by Ashish Kumar and Iram Gilani, develops bespoke software for small and medium-sized businesses. Its systems are designed to replace manual processes and disconnected software with tailored digital solutions.
The company said its customer-focused approach has helped it build long-term relationships with clients, reporting a customer retention rate of around 95% alongside an average customer rating of 4.9 stars.
Ashish said: “Being named a finalist in two categories is a fantastic achievement for everyone at Web Alliance. The Customer Commitment Award is particularly meaningful because our clients are at the heart of everything we do. We don’t simply build a piece of software and walk away. We take the time to understand each business, involve clients throughout the development process and build relationships that continue for many years.
“I’m also extremely honoured to have been shortlisted for Business Person of the Year. Web Alliance’s progress has always been a team effort and this recognition reflects the hard work, skill and commitment of our entire team, as well as the trust our clients have placed in us. We’re proud to be a Northamptonshire business and are looking forward to celebrating alongside so many other outstanding organisations and individuals from across the county.”
The Northamptonshire Business Awards feature 14 categories recognising achievements across areas including business growth, innovation, customer service, workplace wellbeing and leadership.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony at Sywell Aerodrome on 11 September.
