Asbestos consultancy Acorn Analytical Services has appointed Kieran Clare as operations manager, following a period of rapid expansion for the Northampton-based business.

The firm, which relocated to larger premises in April – its third move in two years – has increased staff numbers by 20% over the same period and welcomed 15 new team members so far this year.

Kieran joins with more than a decade of experience in the asbestos industry, having worked his way up from report writer to management roles. He will work alongside operations manager Richard Crockett and head of operations Dan Crask to manage workloads across the consultancy’s surveyors, reporting, and laboratory teams.

“Acorn is an industry leader and I was excited by the growth journey the business is on,” said Kieran. “They really value their people and everyone feels listened to – I noticed that straight away. I can see a long future at Acorn and I’m really looking forward to progressing my career here.”

Managing director Sam Savage added: “We are experiencing significant growth, with new team members and major contracts being secured with household names. We’re delighted to welcome Kieran to the team at such an exciting time. He has already hit the ground running and proven to be a great hire.”

Acorn Analytical Services works with contractors and construction firms on refurbishment and demolition projects, providing asbestos surveys and, where required, removal and remediation services.
