Barton Telecom Services is celebrating 30 years in business this September, marking a major milestone for the Northamptonshire-based telecoms provider.

Founded in 1995 as a family-run operation, the company has grown into a trusted supplier of business mobiles, VoIP systems, broadband services and more for clients across the UK.

“Reaching 30 years in business is a testament to the hard work of our team, the loyalty of our customers, and our commitment to staying ahead in an ever-changing industry,” said technical director Jonny Durham. “From ISDN to VoIP, copper to full fibre broadband, we’ve embraced every change while never losing sight of what matters most – building long-term relationships with our customers and providing the best service possible.”

In its early years, Barton Telecom specialised in traditional telephone systems from manufacturers including Panasonic, Toshiba and Samsung. As the industry shifted, the business became an early adopter of cloud-hosted telephony and internet-based communication, a move which has positioned it as a key partner for firms preparing for the nationwide ISDN switch-off in January 2027.

Managing director Mark Zok added: “We’re incredibly proud to have been part of the Northamptonshire business community for three decades. Here’s to the next chapter – we’re ready for the future of telecoms and excited to continue delivering the high level of service we always have.”

Barton Telecom Services credits its longevity to customer trust, innovation, and its reputation for clear and honest advice — values that have underpinned its growth since day one.
