NORTHAMPTON SAINTS are offering the opportunity to sponsor a Barbarian FC player when the Saints take on the world-famous invitational side at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens next month.
The clash kicks off on September 2, with the BaaBaas eager to avenge their 45-39 defeat by the Saints in the corresponding match last year.
The Barbarians are expected to field a number of international players on Rugby World Cup standby and will be led by Australian coaching quartet Jason Gilmore, Laurie Fisher, Berrick Barnes, and Nathan Grey.
The entire Barbarian FC squad and coaching team are now available to sponsor, with the package including a behind-the-scenes view of life as a Barbarian and an invite to a special luncheon held the day before the match.
A Saints spokesman said: “Sponsoring a Barbarian provides the perfect platform to promote your business at what is set to be an unmissable afternoon of rugby while also networking with other local and national companies.”
The day includes a chance to watch the Barbarians train as they make final preparations for the match. A two-course lunch follows when sponsors will have their sponsored player/coach alongside them on their table and entire Barbarians squad and coaching team will be in attendance.
