Kettering agency Verto has secured a digital strategy contract with SATRA UK, the independent testing, research and certification organisation headquartered in the town.
With more than 100 years of scientific expertise, SATRA UK supports industries including footwear, PPE, furniture and floor coverings through testing, certification and research. The organisation operates globally, working with manufacturers and brands across multiple sectors.
The agreement will see Verto deliver a full website redesign alongside a broader digital strategy aimed at improving how SATRA UK engages with members and partners worldwide.
The website project forms a central part of the programme. Verto will rebuild SATRA UK’s digital platform to improve clarity, speed and accessibility, while modernising the overall user experience. In addition, the work will include updates to booking systems and the member portal, helping streamline access to services.
Alongside the website redesign, Verto is developing a longer-term digital strategy across the organisation. This includes tailored marketing plans for individual divisions, ensuring communications reflect the needs of different industries and audiences.
Activity will cover targeted email campaigns, supported by remarketing and both organic and paid social media. As a result, SATRA UK aims to maintain consistent engagement across multiple channels.
Search visibility will also be a priority. Verto will provide SEO services alongside AI-focused search optimisation, helping ensure SATRA UK remains visible across both traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven platforms.

Content creation will support the wider strategy. Verto’s in-house team will capture photography and video at SATRA UK’s Kettering facilities, documenting laboratories, specialist equipment and teams in action. This material will be used across the website, campaigns and printed materials to better showcase the organisation’s work.
“Securing this contract reflects our experience in delivering integrated digital marketing and communications support,” said David Hummel-Newell, owner and CEO of Verto. “We will work closely with SATRA UK to strengthen its digital platforms and communications.”
“This partnership forms part of our plans to enhance our digital presence and extend our reach across global markets,” said Guy Asch, CEO of SATRA UK. “The combined focus on website development, content and SEO services will support our long-term growth.”
“This project will improve how we present our technical expertise and engage with members,” said Michael Bodsworth, COO at SATRA UK. “The new platform and wider digital strategy will help ensure we remain accessible and relevant to the industries we serve.”

Verto employs more than 35 specialists and has worked with over 450 organisations, delivering services including website design, content strategy, SEO services, social media, video and photography.
The first phase of the programme is now underway, with further digital strategy activity scheduled throughout 2026.
