Northamptonshire charities have received a vital Easter boost after a food campaign led by Franklins Solicitors delivered essential supplies to support rising demand across the county.
The Northants Food Reach initiative, run in partnership with His Church Charity, funded the distribution of seven pallets of food and household essentials to frontline organisations. Northamptonshire charities including Baby Basics Northampton, Hope Northampton and Restore Northampton were among those supported.
The campaign, which also operates in Milton Keynes, is designed to help food banks and community groups maintain critical services as demand continues to grow. Each pallet included a mix of store cupboard staples, cooking ingredients and everyday essentials to support individuals and families in need.
Richard Humphrey from His Church Charity said the partnership highlights the role businesses can play in supporting communities. “We are grateful to the retail and manufacturing partners who trust us to redistribute surplus products to help vulnerable people through charities. This campaign shows what’s possible when businesses and charities work together to support their communities,” said Richard.

Andrea Smith from Franklins Solicitors said the initiative ensures donations deliver maximum local impact. “We are proud to support the Northants Food Reach campaign and bring support to our communities this Easter. Businesses can be confident their donations go further, reaching those who need it most through trusted local charities,” said Andrea.
Charities say the support is already making a difference. Sabrina Oakey, speaking on behalf of the McCarthy-Dixon Foundation, said: “Being able to sit together and share a warm meal helps create a welcoming, family-like environment where everyone feels included and valued.”
In Milton Keynes, organisations including MK Food Bank and Baby Basics MK also received support through the linked campaign, reflecting the wider regional need.
With pressure on food banks continuing to rise, Franklins Solicitors and His Church Charity are now calling on more Northamptonshire businesses to get involved. One-off and ongoing donations will help fund future deliveries and maintain support for communities facing hardship.
