Silverstone Soccer will support The Lewis Foundation for the first time in 2026, as Silverstone Leasing confirms the Northamptonshire charity as its official partner for this year’s business tournament.

The annual five-a-side competition, organised by Northampton-based Silverstone Leasing, will take place at Daventry Town Football Club on Sunday 28 June. The event brings together 12 Northamptonshire businesses for a day of competitive football and fundraising.

Now in its seventh year, Silverstone Soccer has become a regular fixture in the county’s business calendar. However, 2026 marks the first time the event has named a new sole beneficiary since it launched in 2020.

Supporting cancer patients across the Midlands

The Lewis Foundation provides free gift packs and support to adult cancer patients in hospitals across the Midlands. The charity relies entirely on donations and volunteers to fund its work.

Ryan Bishop, team leader at Silverstone Leasing and organiser of Silverstone Soccer, said the decision reflects the company’s commitment to backing impactful local causes. He said: “We are very proud of how Silverstone Soccer has grown since we started in 2020. Therefore, choosing The Lewis Foundation as our 2026 partner felt like a natural step.

“They provide practical items to cancer patients that many would struggle to source or afford themselves. In some cases, their volunteers are the only visitors patients receive. As a result, we hope this year’s fundraising will help them reach even more people across our community.”

Corporate teams invited to enter

Twelve team places are available, priced at £350 +VAT per team. In addition, sponsorship packages start from £300 +VAT and include brand placement on event shirts or memorabilia.

Last year, first-time entrants Northampton Town Football Club secured the winner’s title, with Asset Engineering finishing as runners-up. Alongside the football, the day will include family-friendly entertainment, including a bouncy castle and a charity car wash led by Scott Norville, managing director at Silverstone Leasing.

Lorraine Lewis, chief executive and co-founder of The Lewis Foundation, welcomed the partnership. She said: “We’re incredibly grateful to Silverstone Leasing for choosing us as its 2026 charity partner. Events like Silverstone Soccer raise vital funds. However, they also shine a light on the everyday realities faced by people undergoing cancer treatment.

“The money raised will allow us to continue delivering free gift packs, comfort and much-needed human connection to patients. We are looking forward to being part of such a well-supported Northamptonshire business event.”
