Northampton College students are celebrating a string of outstanding results, with several courses achieving 100% pass rates.
Hair and beauty students on Level 3 technical programmes all passed, graduating with skills ready for the workplace. Every student on the Early Years and Education T Level achieved a Merit, supporting a childcare sector in urgent need of qualified professionals.
Academic results were equally strong, with AS Level History recording a 100% pass rate – 76% of students earning grades A–C – and Media Studies close behind at 81% A–C. First-year T Level students in Design, Surveying and Planning, as well as Digital Support, also achieved a full set of passes.
“We’re delighted to see another exceptional performance from our ambitious Level 3 students,” said principal Jason Lancaster. “We set the bar high, and their hard work and dedication have paid off. These results open doors – whether that’s further study or heading straight into the workplace. It’s also a huge credit to our staff, who’ve been there every step of the way.”
Other top-performing courses included BTEC Level 3 Extended Diplomas in Civil Engineering, Travel and Tourism, and Forensic and Criminal Investigation, all with perfect pass rates. The Level 3 Metal Fabricator apprenticeship saw every learner succeed, including Daniel McMillan, who recently won Gold at the national World Skills competition.
Level 2 results were also impressive, with 100% pass rates in Health and Social Care, HGV maintenance and repair, and adult counselling skills.
Northampton College offers a range of university-level courses, including HNDs across arts and STEM subjects, starting in September.
