Move sparked by growth

AFTER 10 years at their Headlands office, Business Advisors and Accountants, Haines Watts have moved their Kettering team to the popular Kettering Venture Park. The team, one of three Haines Watts offices in the region have acquired an open plan space, set over two floors due to the continued growth of their regional business which now comprises over 130 individuals, across 12 service divisions.

Having taken the decision to diversify their client offering from traditional compliance services such as accounts, tax and audit to include among others – People and Property Service divisions and with an increasing headcount and client base, the firms’ teams needed to be able to collaborate more than ever and this has driven the relocation to the new site.

Chris Timms, Regional Managing Director said: “We’re delighted to have taken on the new property – our teams were split across three floors and in separate rooms at Headlands. The nature of our business offering which caters for the various demands of the owner managed business market means collaboration amongst our teams is critical to the quality of the service we provide to our expanding client base and the interaction we have with our clients. The new location enables this and also supports our positive stance on employee wellbeing where a well-designed office environment contributes to a healthier and happier workforce.”

Rob de Main, Head of Operations and Technology who helped manage the move, said: “It’s a fantastic space and mirrors our Northampton office, just on a smaller scale. We worked with Northamptonshire business ACS Office Solutions to design and implement the fit out, now being enjoyed by our Kettering based team and our wider regional colleagues.”

Haines Watts East Midlands services the needs of over 3,000 clients, many of whom are owner managed businesses and they do so, through their philosophy of ‘Helping their clients reach their destination with speed and certainty’.
