An authentic experience

ONCE people have tasted authentic Italian cuisine created at Pizzeria Venezia there is no going back to ordinary pizzas and pastas.

The family-owned restaurant in Church Street, Rushden, has an impressive reputation for its food, prepared by the experienced team, and a second-to-none service headed up by Cesare Marinaro and his wife Sabina.

Individuals who want to talk business with colleagues and clients can enjoy a meal in the ground-floor restaurant while larger groups can book the first-floor function room which can accommodate up to 55 people. A large car park next to the restaurant is an additional bonus especially for event organisers.

The free delivery service is another option with choices from the extensive takeaway menu available at lunchtime and in the evening. All orders are transported in smart Pizzeria Venezia vehicles driven by one of the restaurant’s friendly drivers to locations across the area. Wine, beers and soft drinks can be added to the order.

Cesare said: “It is important that customers feel confident that when they come to the restaurant or request a takeaway that they will be offered freshly prepared, traditional Italian food and excellent service.

“The function room is ideal for business people who want to run a conference or other event. We can discuss their specific needs and help to make sure they get the most from their day.”

Freshly prepared food has been made at the restaurant since 1987 and it is renowned for serving fresh food sourced, wherever possible, from local suppliers.

The restaurant team prepares and freshly slices traditional Italian meats on the premises, prepares its own tomato sauces and makes fresh pizza dough daily. The extensive main menu features all the Italian favourites with chicken, fish and veal featuring prominently, as well as award-winning pizzas and a chef’s own specials board which changes weekly incorporating Italian cuisine with something for the adventurous. They also accommodate those with allergies, using a specially sourced gluten-free pizza base to rival all others.

The restaurant is open at lunchtime on Tuesday to Saturday. In the evening, Pizzeria Venezia opens at 6pm, closing at 11pm on Monday to Thursday and midnight on Friday and Saturday. Last orders are taken at 10pm.
