A WINTER wonderland awaits guests at the Northampton Marriott this year where the Squires Suite and Delapre Room will be transformed into a festive party setting for events throughout December.
The Winter Wonderland Party Nights will include a three-course dinner, half a bottle of wine per person, fun festive novelties and disco and dancing until 12.30am.
The menu includes starters leek and potato soup and duck parfait with spiced fruit chutney and toasted seeds, while there’s grilled sea bass with potato, spinach and red pepper dressing or sweet potato, feta and creamed spinach strudel for the main course, as well as the traditional roast turkey with chestnut and sage seasoning and all the trimmings.
It’s Christmas pudding for dessert, or white chocolate and winter berry cheesecake followed by coffee and chocolate mints.
The Party Nights actually begin on November 24 and 25, and will then be held every Wednesday to Saturday during December. Prices range from £35 per person to £45 per person depending on the date booked.
Nicola Black, Northampton Marriott Events Executive, said: “We have brought Winter Wonderland back by popular demand, but this year it will be bigger and better as we strive to provide great service and quality.”
A festive Sunday carvery lunch will be served on 10 and 17 December, while a festive three-course lunch is available on request throughout December, for those who want to meet up with colleagues, family or friends at lunchtime. The cost is £19 per person including three courses, Christmas crackers and party novelties.
On Christmas Day and Boxing Day, the Northampton Marriott will be serving a festive carvery. On Christmas Day the price of £70 per person will include a glass of sparkling wine on arrival, carvery lunch with Christmas crackers and novelties and a gift for the children. Children aged five to 12 years eat for £35 and there is no charge for children under five. On Boxing Day, the three-course carvery lunch is £25 for adults and £12.50 for children five to 12 years.
New Year’s Eve sees the residential Black Tie Ball. Guests can arrive from 2pm and settle in to their room and enjoy arrival refreshments before heading down for pre-dinner champagne and canapes, a four-course dinner and disco until 1pm. A relaxed brunch will be served in the restaurant the following morning before guests depart.
