Despite ongoing political and economic uncertainty, the first half of 2026 has been a successful period for the Legal 500-recognised Commercial Property team at Wilson Browne Solicitors.

The team was named Commercial Property Team of the Year at the British Conveyancing Awards 2026, adding national recognition to its established reputation for advising on complex commercial property transactions.

In March, partners Tom Warrender, John Punni and Kevin Rogers attended MIPIM in Cannes, the world’s largest commercial property event, representing both Wilson Browne Solicitors and the wider Midlands.

The week included networking events, industry discussions and meetings with developers, investors and advisers from across the world to explore opportunities, projects and future investment across the region. The team also hosted a sold-out Pre-Bunker Bagel Breakfast as part of the fringe programme.

Commenting on the first half of the year, partner Tom Warrender said:

“To represent our firm, this great county and the Midlands on the international stage at MIPIM, while also receiving national recognition at the British Conveyancing Awards, is testament to the strength of our team and the support of our clients and professional network. We are proud to be a local practice with national reach.”

The recognition does not end there. The Commercial Property team has also been shortlisted for Outstanding Legal Team of the Year (UK/National/Regional Firms & Specialists) at the 30th anniversary Property Week Commercial Property Awards, with the winners due to be announced on 8 July 2026.

Wilson Browne’s Commercial Property team is one of the largest in Northamptonshire, comprising four partners, a senior associate, an associate, two solicitors, two trainee solicitors and a paralegal. Looking ahead to the second half of the year, the team will continue advising businesses, developers, investors and property owners across Northamptonshire and beyond.
