Dedicated to finding the best deals it can with energy and water suppliers, the company has gone from strength to strength, convincing clients that its personal, face-to-face approach based on relationships is the best way to ensure they find value-for-money products and services.
Later this month, SK Energy will be at the SME Northamptonshire Business Awards, where the firm is shortlisted in three categories – Best Customer Service, Business of the Year less than 50 employees and the Service Excellence Award. It is also nominated for the Customer Commitment Award in the Northamptonshire Business Awards, organised by Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce.
Earlier this year, Wellingborough Chamber of Commerce named SK Energy Best Service Business in its annual awards and the company was runner-up in the Best Customer Service Award at the National New Business Awards in July as well as being named finalist in three categories.
Reemesh Patel, Managing Consultant at SK Energy, said: “This is an industry where there is a lot of mistrust and that’s why we are proud of the way our client base has grown so quickly after just a year and a half, and also why we are so proud to do well in awards, particularly customer service awards.

Energy prices have hit something of a high recently, which leaves SK Energy facing a number of challenges, but the firm can still boast contracts worth around £12m and estimates that is has saved its clients a combined £750,000 or so in 18 months.
