LAST month saw the cream of local business take to the stage at Northampton’s home of the stars. Kinky boots were set aside for the night as an array of top companies and individuals celebrated their extensive achievements over the last 12 months.
The theatre was alive with nervous energy as one by one, the winners walked onto the famous stage to receive their well-deserved accolades. This really was the Oscars of Northamptonshire’s leading business lights.
Speaking on behalf of the SME Northamptonshire Business Awards, Director Damian Cummins said: “Doom and gloom were set aside as the county’s very best businesses competed to win an award. As if taking the stage here in Northants were not enough, the winners will now go forward to the prestigious National Final at Wembley next year. As a locally based business ourselves we are hoping to see a couple of the Northamptonshire winners lift a trophy at the iconic stadium.”
The overall winner was ID Card Centre with one judge commenting” “Their ambition and growth is evident and impressive. They have clearly planned well, implemented well and provided stats to back it all up.”
