Dressing with confidence

WHEN it comes to dressing with confidence for business or pleasure Dean Anderson, tailor at Saint Crispin Bespoke Menswear has all bases covered.

Dean’s mission is to make sure that every man, whatever shape or size he may be, will leave the studio feeling his best, with a suit that fits to perfection, looks sharp and doesn’t cost the earth.

Made-to-measure is no longer the preserve of the rich and famous.

“You can spend a lot of cash buying trousers or a suit off-the-peg, that ends up hanging in the back of the wardrobe because it doesn’t sit quite right or feels uncomfortable,” said Dean.

“With made-to-measure, your garments are made up in a fabric that you’ll love, with buttons and stitching you’ve chosen, in a style that suits your frame, enhances your good features, with room to move freely. It may cost a little more to buy, but you’ll gain significantly more pleasure from it, feel confident and comfortable and you can be sure no one else will be wearing the same suit as you.”

Another reason gentlemen like to visit Saint Crispin Bespoke Menswear, apart from the friendly chat and a cuppa, is the fact that there’s no need to trek around the shops any more. An appointment with Dean takes about an hour to be measured and to decide on your garments, from suits, shirts and jackets to trousers, jeans, polo shirts and more.

Then in four to six weeks’ time, there’s a further fitting appointment, when you can try on your new clothes and choose accessories, socks, shoes, ties and belts, if you so wish and that’s it! All done and dusted – not fuss, no stress and no queues.

Parking is easy too, there’s plenty of free car parking spaces at Saint Crispin Retail Village in Upton, on the outskirts of Northampton, where Dean has his studio. Take a look at www.saintcrispin.co.uk for lots of inspirational ideas and to book an appointment.
