WITH both the judging and the public votes concluded for this year’s SME Northamptonshire Business Awards, the only thing left is to wait in eager anticipation for the awards night later this month.
The winners of the 20 categories will be announced at a black-tie awards ceremony at the Royal and Derngate on Thursday, 26 September. The evening will conclude with the presentation to the overall Business of the Year award, chosen from among the category winners.
The fourth annual awards, presented in association with Business Times, has seen a bigger entry than ever before, with two new categories – South Northamptonshire Business of the Year and Coffee Shop of the Year – drawing massive interest.
In the South Northamptonshire Business of the Year category five companies – Business Information Bureau, My Build Estimate, Extravis Marketing, Silverstone Pak and Fortitude Financial Planning – will vie for the title. The Ten Hands Coffee Bar in Towcester, Cafe Coco in Northampton, The Courtyard Cafe in Daventry, The Water Mill at Woodford and The Boathouse at Earls Barton will contest the Coffee Shop of the Year category.
Damian Cummins of awards organisers Events and PR said: “There has been an excellent response again this year and we’re thrilled that all the categories have been well supported, particularly those featuring for the first time.
“We’d also once again like to thank Business Times, as well as our headline sponsor Stanair, and all the category sponsors for their support in making this one of the leading business awards events in the county.
“We’re now looking forward to seeing everyone at the event on 26 September for another amazing night for Northamptonshire businesses.”
