NORTHAMPTON Musical Theatre Company’s Youth Society are proud to present their production of Disney High School Musical On Stage.
Following the success of their first production last year, a wealth of talented young people aged from eight to 18 from across Northamptonshire will once again be taking to the stage.
The show centres on the relationship of teenagers Troy and Gabriella, who meet on holiday and rediscover each other at school. They find themselves in a battle for the leads in the school musical while the Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians and Skater Dudes start to break away from their cliques to change the status quo. The feelgood show is full of upbeat numbers such as Breaking Free, Bop to the Top and We’re All In This Together.
NMTCYS will perform Disney High School Musical On Stage at The Cripps Hall Theatre, Northampton, from 18 to 20 April, with shows at 2.30pm and 6.30pm. Tickets, priced from £8 to £16, are available at www.ticketsource.co.uk/cripps-hall or by calling 01604 258666.
Later this year there’s a chance to meet the Essex girls who changed the world in NMTC’s production Made in Dagenham.
The company show, full of raucous fun, is based on a true story about equal pay and respect for women following the 1968 strike at the Ford Motor Company plant in Dagenham.

For those who love a good traditional singalong then the company’s old time musical on Sunday, 23 June at 7pm is perfect. Tickets are £15 for the show where the audience are encouraged to dress up. Tickets available from the Royal and Derngate.
