Recruitment stress: finding those candidates

FACT: Northamptonshire has a resident-based employment rate of 76.5 per cent, which is higher than the national average (71.3 per cent), a high proportion of local employees are in full-time work. A recent survey by a Northamptonshire association that promotes and protects the interests of the business community shows that 60 per cent of local companies looking to hire new staff are facing difficulties finding suitably skilled recruits.

It showed 69 per cent of manufacturers in the area that are looking to recruit are struggling to fill their vacancies. The survey also demonstrates that overall, 36 per cent of people who responded to the survey expect to increase the size of their workforce during 2020. Is that your business?
