Ethan Malvern, technical director at consultancy 3RS IT Solutions, is shortlisted in the Young ITSM Professional of the Year category at the Professional Service Management Awards 2025. The award recognises individuals under 30 who have demonstrated outstanding achievement, ability, and potential in the early stages of their IT service management career.
Ethan began his journey with the company as a 16-year-old infrastructure technician apprentice with Baltic Apprenticeships. By the age of 19, he had become one of the youngest company directors in the UK, joining the board of 3RS IT Solutions alongside marketing director Leila Souch and founder and managing director Steve Souch.
Steve said: “We are so proud that Ethan has been shortlisted as a finalist for Young ITSM Professional of the Year. The recognition is testament to the hard work and dedication he has shown over the last five years.”
Reflecting on his finalist spot, Ethan added: “Being announced as a finalist was a massive surprise but it’s amazing that the judges have recognised my hard work. Starting out as an apprentice at 16 and to get where I am now, at 21, is just amazing.”
Winners will be announced at a gala dinner at Stadium MK on Monday 10 November.
