Felice said: “There is growing demand for defibrillators which, when operated correctly within three to five minutes of a cardiac arrest, can produce survival rates as high as 50 to 70 per cent. Each minute of delay to defibrillation reduces the probability of survival, so public access to defibrillators can make a real difference.
