GET set to shimmer and sparkle at the Mercure Daventry Court Hotel this Christmas as the All that Glitters is Gold Party Nights get under way.
From the decor to the prosecco in your glass, there’s going to be a theme of glitzy glamour as you celebrate with work colleagues, family or friends in the run-up to the festive season.
Party nights will be held on Fridays and Saturday throughout December – as well as on Thursday 14 December.
Guests will dine on roast sweet potato and carrot soup, followed by roast turkey with all the trimmings or a vegetarian option, and then caramel panna cotta before finishing off with tea, coffee and mince pies.
The evening begins at 7pm, with dinner served at 7.30pm and finishes and ends at 1am. Prices are at £25 per person for Thursday night and £30 for Fridays and Saturdays.
For those wishing to celebrate earlier in the day, the Christmas Joiner Lunch will be held on Friday, 15 December. Offering a similar menu to the party nights, the lunchtime event is the perfect way to get away from the office and celebrate with colleagues for a few hours. The cost for two guests is £30 for the festive lunch and disco, with lunch served at 12.30pm and last orders at 4pm.
On the big day itself, the Mercure Daventry Court Hotel will be serving its Christmas Day lunch from 12.30pm onwards. After starting with a glass of Bucks Fizz, guests will sit down to a four-course festive carvery including starters, a choice of turkey, topside of beef, gammon and salmon, as well as vegetarian options, and then a selection of desserts before finishing with tea or coffee and mints.
After lunch, the children will receive a gift from Father Christmas and then everyone can retire to the lounge to enjoy the rest of the afternoon. Prices are £49.95 for adults and £14.95 for children aged four to eight, with younger children eating free.
A Great Gatsby Ball on New Year’s Eve rounds off the festive celebrations at Mercure Daventry Court Hotel – with tickets priced at £62.50 including champagne and canapes on arrival, a four-course meal and then dancing to a Rat Pack band and disco before toasting the arrival of 2018 at midnight.
