Nearly 400 guests gathered at Sywell Aerodrome as the Northamptonshire Business Awards celebrated the companies, charities, entrepreneurs and employees contributing to the county’s economy and communities.
The 2026 awards, organised by Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce, recognised achievement in 15 categories spanning business growth, innovation and international trade to sustainability, workplace wellbeing and community impact.
Wilson Browne Solicitors was headline sponsor of the Northamptonshire Business Awards, continuing a partnership that is already set to run until at least 2030.
Wilson Browne’s long-term commitment to the awards reflects the firm’s wider support for Northamptonshire and its determination to recognise and celebrate the people and businesses contributing to the county’s success.
Wilson Browne announced the extension of its headline sponsorship earlier this year. At the time, Kevin Rogers, chair of the law firm’s board of management, said the awards were about “celebrating success, recognising ambition and shining a spotlight on the businesses and individuals who make Northamptonshire such a great place to do business”.
The awards evening on Friday September 11 brought together businesses and organisations from across Northamptonshire, with category sponsors drawn from the private, public and education sectors.
Sunny Singh, Group Commercial Director of Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce and Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce, said: “Northamptonshire has an incredibly diverse and ambitious business community, and the awards gave us the opportunity to put some of its very best people and organisations in the spotlight.
“Nearly 400 people joined us at Sywell Aerodrome, which shows just how much support there is for recognising business achievement across the county. Among the night’s biggest successes were Inter County Service Group, which won High Growth Business of the Year before taking the Pinnacle Award, and Jaytrac Limited, named both Small Business of the Year and Global Business of the Year.
The NX Group also collected two awards. Richard Mallard was named Business Person of the Year while the company took Employer of the Year.
Zinc Digital was named Northamptonshire Innovative Business of the Year, while its Abigail Mellish collected the Apprentice of the Year award.
The breadth of the Northamptonshire Business Awards was also reflected in winners from outside the traditional corporate sector. Cynthia Spencer Hospice Charity was named Charity of the Year, Eastfield Academy received the Northamptonshire Sustainability Award and Accommodation Concern won the Workplace Wellbeing Award.
Victoria Aregbesola of Grassroots Counselling Ltd was named Young Business Person of the Year. Paradigm Shift Consulting won Diversity in the Workplace and Something Blue Bakery Ltd took Best New Business of the Year.
Web Alliance received the Customer Commitment Award.
The category sponsors included Learning & Skills Academy, Simply Business Services, the University of Northampton, ITFixo, KCI Complete Office Solutions, Proaction Martial Arts, See Limited, Tresham College, West Northamptonshire Council and North Northamptonshire Council, Paradigm Shift Consulting, HSBC, Dachser, Kairos Training and Azets.
Wilson Browne also sponsored the Pinnacle Award.
The ceremony was hosted by Adam Leventhal, with entertainment during the evening including saxophone and violin performances and winged dancers.
Sunny also paid tribute to the people responsible for delivering the event.
