The only two AA rosette restaurant in Northampton is once again offering food of exceptional quality, all cooked in-house and backed up with a level of customer service that has seen the Duston venue enter the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame.
For families, the menu is accompanied by a children’s menu featuring healthy, home-cooked food that children love; while office parties large and small can get together to mark the festive season throughout December.
The Festive Party Menu will be available from 25 November to 8 December (£26.50 for lunch and £28.50 for dinner) and from 9 December to 24 December (£28.50 for lunch and £29.95 for dinner).
The menu includes wild mushroom and thyme soup, marinated and glazed goat’s cheese, confit of salmon with marinated fennel, and smoked ham hock and chicken terrine for starters; followed by turkey and all the trimmings, slow cooked shoulder of lamb, pan-fried fillet of sea bass and spinach, fennel and blue cheese tart for the main courses.
Diners can choose from Christmas pudding; mulled wine poached pear; white chocolate, dark chocolate and tonka bean ice cream; or a selection of cheeses for dessert.
The Hopping Hare also has a Christmas Day menu at £90 per person or £50 for children for four courses followed by tea, coffee and mince pies, and a Boxing Day menu which is priced at £35 per person and £20 for children. The New Year’s Eve menu at £65 per person. For £210 per couple guests can stay over in one of the hotel’s 20 luxury en-suite bedrooms – the price includes bedroom, New Year’s Eve dinner and brunch the following day.
