Aspiring entrepreneurs in Northamptonshire are being invited to apply for the third intake of Vulcan Creatives, the business incubation scheme run by the Vulcan Works support hub.
The free six‑month programme, launched in 2024, is designed to help individuals turn early‑stage ideas into viable enterprises. Participants receive structured guidance in business planning, as well as training in the practical skills required to build and grow a start‑up.
Two cohorts of ten entrepreneurs have already completed the scheme, with many going on to launch successful ventures or significantly develop their concepts. A further ten places are now available, with applications open until Friday 12 September.
To be eligible, applicants must be aged 18 or over, live in Northamptonshire and be able to commit at least two days a week to workshops, coaching sessions and business development activity.
Those selected will work closely with Vulcan Works’ team of business growth specialists to shape, test and refine their ideas. They will benefit from free coworking space, tailored one‑to‑one support from Business Growth Manager Darren Smith, regular cohort meetings and access to a series of events and masterclasses.
Graduates of the scheme can also access further opportunities, including discounted rates on office, coworking or workshop space at Vulcan Works for six months after completion.
The next cohort will begin in October.
