A Northamptonshire law firm is preparing to represent the region at MIPIM, the world’s largest commercial property event, while hosting a sold-out networking event in Cannes.

Wilson Browne Solicitors will attend the international conference next week, bringing together developers, investors and advisers from across the global property sector. The firm will also host its Pre-Bunker Bagel Breakfast at the Green Bagel Café, which has sold out ahead of the event.

The breakfast is expected to welcome around 70 property professionals at the start of the conference week. MIPIM is one of the best-known events in the commercial property calendar and attracts senior figures from across the industry.

Tom Warrender, partner and joint head of the commercial property team at Wilson Browne Solicitors, said the event gives regional businesses an opportunity to strengthen relationships and highlight development opportunities across the Midlands.

Tom said: “MIPIM brings together decision-makers from across the global property industry. For regional firms like ours, it is a valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships and highlight the opportunities available across the Midlands.”

He added: “Many projects begin with conversations and introductions. Events like our breakfast help create the space for those discussions to happen and often connect developers, investors and advisers who may not otherwise meet.”

Wilson Browne’s commercial property team attending MIPIM includes Tom Warrender and John Punni, who jointly lead the department.

Kevin Rogers, partner in the commercial litigation team and chair of the board of management at Wilson Browne Solicitors, will also be attending events during the week.

Kevin, who leads the firm’s commercial business unit and is recognised as a Legal 500 Leading Partner, said: “MIPIM is the biggest gathering of commercial property professionals in the world and it provides a unique opportunity to bring people together. Our breakfast event has become a great way to start the week, helping people reconnect and build new relationships in a relaxed setting.”

He added: “The Midlands continues to attract strong interest from developers and investors. Being present at events like MIPIM ensures regional businesses are part of those wider conversations and helps introduce the right people to move projects forward.”

Wilson Browne Solicitors employs around 180 people across six offices. The firm’s commercial and corporate teams are recognised by Legal 500, including several lawyers listed as Leading Partners.

The sold-out breakfast will take place before the main conference activity begins and is designed to bring people together in an informal setting. Wilson Browne says the event gives delegates a chance to catch up with existing contacts and make new introductions at the start of the week.
